    Yes. You’re right. It currently has stock rams horn manifolds and 1 7/8” head pipes. I increased to 2” for a couple feet, then 30” long mufflers.

    I made it home from my 2 hour drive and loved it. I think it runs better than it did before. Starts right up with a nice rumble. Around town, it has that sweet whine like a hot small block should. It hums down the interstate at 80 or 90 miles an hour just fine. Before, with open headers all the time, it rattled the walls of the garage. No way to hold a conversation inside the car. Now it’s great.

    No , the coupe just has a plain old 9” Ford rear end. The quick change is for my ‘27 T roadster pickup project. Not sure when that build will happen.

    Glad to see some updates on this one. So far it has been my favorite Rex Rod build featured in the HAMB. Also glad to hear your recovering. Brain surgery huh? Well at least it wasn’t rocket science.
