After the passing of friend and fellow racer Rick Sipes, Sunset Screen Printers has been sold to a couple of lifelong friends of mine. They wish to continue the high quality and personal service that Rick had offered his customers for years. Both Mike and Steve have diverse backgrounds including over 25 years of print and design experience. Just wanted to let the public know that the doors are once again open.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

    HOLY CRAP!

I know I'm new here folks, but being from Tucson, and being the son of an old hot rodder, I knew Rick as a kid. My dad (Larry Price) was friends with Rick "way back in the day." I remember we always had Sunset Printing do stuff for our clubs (Flathead Ford V8 Club, Tucson Touring T's etc). I remember seeing rick when I was a kid at his shop, and also at "The Old Ford Store."

My dad's been gone since 99, and I've been planning on going through his photo collection of cars, rodders, and Tucson dating back to the Early 50's. Dad was a founding member of the "Low Riders" club back in 53 or 54 (can't remember - he was in a news paper article back in the 90's about it) and was also a Race Car Driver (stock and modified) until a wreck in 59 about killed him. I remember Dad and I used to go to the Sprint Car races all the time at the Tucson Raceway - and Dad always used to be able to point out everybody in the races.

I'll see if I can't dig up some early photos of Rick and those old school Tucson hot-rods.

To Rick's family - my deepest condolences....

Nice car indeed. However I do not think I would want to drive around with no front brakes!

Bummer. First I heard about this. Only met Rick once when he bought my Topolino. Really nice guy.

Anyone know where the Topolino is?
