We Set the body on Jr's car today. It's really lookin good.

We need to get the front hubs and drums on to set it down for real.

It will sit a little higher in the back too. Once there's some air in the bags.

For those wondering ...the big holes behind the seat are not for a set of 10's. They were just for access into the trunk.

That color is outstanding. Should look really sweet when you're done. What are your wheels and tires going to be like?

Nice. The driver and passenger side glory holes to the trunk are a great feature.

Rockabilly..the Wimbleton white is PPG....55 gallon drum :) The copper is house of color with PPG flat clear.

Tman...we've used that white on a lot of cars..my old RPU, Larry's old truck, Mr Yuck, The T coupe and now this. Maybe more.

Tman...since I was a kid all I can remember is white accents on fenderless cars as being a look I really like. The colors of the cars may change but the white will probably always be there. Now since finding a reasonable chromer some things may change.

I'm building this car to sell so whoever buys it can call it whatever they want but around the shop it's been the Coppertone Kid. The car is going to a show here in Harrisburg and to the Autorama in Detroit if they accept it. I have my 41 Ford panel to do some work to and a 31 model A roadster I really want to start on.

Boones I've taken some long trips in my cars and haven't had a radio in one yet. The sound of the engine and sitting back enjoying the ride has been enough so far but in the work truck I still need the jams.

I installed the fuse panel and started putting the dash together today along with a few other things.

Jr., I agree on the radio. didn't need on the way to B'ville. Roadster looks
really good. I had copper solids on mine for a short while, may go back to
    them.....

Gary I have a Bonneville dvd for you. I'll give it to you in Detroit if I don't see you sooner.

Just waiting on the front hubs to be machined for the Buick drums and the drive shaft and other than that just a couple little things to do. Finished up the wiring today and hopefully it'll be off to get upholstered monday. I don't know if I like the top side or the bottom better this is the smoothest car we've built yet.
