Been searching high and low and even the speedway Tech couldn't give me an exact year on the starter to use. The customer bought the kit with the nose cone without the starter because he thought you could use the Flathead starter which I knew wasn't going to work. And all of the internet that I searched no one listed an actual part number or exact year for the starter as Ford made a few different ones. Went to the local Carquest today which they let me run around in the back on my own and found the correct one. Here is the starter number for the Flathead to c4 conversion that Speedway sells just to help somebody out. Here's a picture of the new starter with the new nose cone installed. 16505590214151409762403082545185.jpg 16505590536285645646159145555042.jpg
