Where did you stop? If you are close to San Antonio we could have passed each other.

  12. I agree... I think this trip has all the makings of a remake of a TV series about two guys and their 'Vette, cruisin' the U.S. , one adventure after anothert..... the only thing missing is the luggage rack on the trunk!

  16. Epic adventure with your son. Safe travels to the Southland.

  17. That Corvette may only seat two people, but obviously there are many more riding along with your adventure.
    Cool story forming here.

    thanks!

Looks like we get to deal with some "liquid sunshine" this morning...which is totally expected. Will wait till it gets light to start driving.

Took a trip in 1984 in our '64 Coupe to the Reunion in Bowling Green, all 4 of us! The girls were small and we travelled light. 50 miles north of Albany, N.Y. to the suburbs of Baltimore (to visit the BIL), down to Ga. and over thru Tn. to Clarksville to the Wife's Moms. Stayed a few days and off to Bowling Green for the three day show. Back to Clarksville before heading home (a little more direct route). We picked up a few things during our trip that we had to ship back home. The girls Still remember riding all that way (about 3500 miles) in the back of that Coupe!!! Coupe.jpg

We stayed in Abilene. The rain stopped after Dallas. It's nice out now. Almost to Louisiana now.

    We stopped at Bucees

Got to love Bucees quite the experience. There’s another one on I 10 just east of I 65. Not sure where you’re stepping off to the north east. Enjoy
