  5. Yeah Cab, make with the pics! haha
I saw you at the Strangers show yesterday and have a bunch of pics to load up. Being that I'm still pretty new, I don't know too many people here. So I wasn't in the know that you are a Hamber too. Can't wait to see more.

    here's some more pics!

Damn trunk lid was bent from the manufacture (Brookville), so now i have to drive back to Sacto ( Vintage ford) and get refunded. check how off the lower left side of the lid is:( doesn't make sense to have to fix something with bondo so it looks right in which is supposed to be brand spankin new![IMG]

okay... here my engine... whatcha think?

next post i'll give you guys a sneak peek of the color of the car since it's taking so long to get this thing painted!
    thanks again for looking,

24kt and nothing less for this girl!!:D I was at Paso darling. I saw the Coupe but not you. Then I saw the CAB but with some tall chick so I just bowed out. Strange for me I know, but tall chicks intimidate me.:p

I haven't the slightest clue what I'm up to. I've been spending all my money on my Pontiac...........but I'm hoping to ride in to Billet Proof with Ragdoll and her Pontiac. So maybe then? Let me know what yer up to!

    I love the gold............mmmmmmmmm GOOOOOOOOOOLD!:D

Willy Wonka huh? Well, what I used to do all night now takes me all night to do.:)

You should be able to "twist" that decklid for it to fit. Take the lid off. Get two strong guys. One guy can hold the front, the other guy pulls up on the driver side and pushes down on the pass side.

The other thing you could try is puttin a block of wood in the driver side of the trunk and pushing down on the passenger side. You gotta be careful doing it this way cause you could bend the lip on the decklid or the lower panel.

we'll here's what we have painted so far, so you know what the color is going to look like! Boy, when you see it outside... for a suede look, the pearl in the paint sure makes it shine:)

At Paso this year i saw this 50 merc and this is where i based my GOLD color choice from ...but picture it minus the clear coat. So with a suede pearl look and black shiny metallic scallops with bone white striping, the scallops should pop nicely when finished:)
    thanks for looking,

Same here saw CABS coupe at paso. Then when I did see CAb he looked a little busy so I never got a chance to introduce myself. Cab the color looks nice can't wait to see the final product

  21. Cab, youi still might need to do what Clarks says, none fit the same from car to car. Do it all the time here at teh shop.

I was lucky enough to meet him bright and early on Saturday morning. I was a little bummed not meeting anyone else from the HAMB. Is their like some sort of secret handshake or something?

By the way Cab, those colors are going to ROCK!!!

    Dammmm Dude that thing ROCKS!!!!!

I can't wait to see it all done...The only question I have is are you still going to run those kelsy's???
Don't get me wrong I love Kelsys but your car is leaning towards 1960's more than the late 1940's 50's..I just think that it might be the wrong look for that color and engine....But If you like it. thats all the matters...I'm sure it will still look AWESOME!!!

that color is screaming for Chrome Reverse with Slicks and Spider caps!!

    Congrats on the new paint...
    Just my 2cents
