Nothing to do with cars, but I was at Dong A Co (the best Viatnamese market in town) with my kid yesterday. There was a somewhat hefty guy behind us in the checkout line and my kid turns around and says, "you have a big belly" to him. I put my hand over his mouth but the words had already escaped.
Another time, in the same store, I saw a couple of kids looking at the headless frozen meat and fish and one of 'em said to the other, "They're not dead, they're just sleeping with their heads cut off."

    Kids are the best.

Oh, I seriously hate it when this stuff happens. Thankfully the few times I have been placed in this situation I was able to stop. Even more than that, EVERYONE here drives SUV's and my field of vision is even further blocked.

  3. A courteous driver caused an accident I was in a few years back. I was working for a semi-trailer repair and sales shop in the parts department. I had to deliver some parts to one of our mobile guys . I was just comming up on an over pass over the exspressway when the light turned red,so I stoped . Some one who must not have been from the area got in the wrong turn lane to get on the exspressway. He needed to get in the turn lane after he crossed the overpass to go the direction he wanted to go.He stoped and turned on his turn signal to get back out on the road.I had two cars in front of me at the light . When it turned green the cars started to go then all of the sudden the first car decided to be nice and let the guy get back in ahead of him, he slammed on his brakes to let the guy in then took off not knowing what he had caused behind him.The guy wright in front of me locked up his brakes trying not to hit the dumbass in front of him,I jumped on my brakes but the old guy behind me in his new Buick was'nt fast enough and he hit me. It did'nt do much to my parts truck , just tweaked the bumper a little but it completly fubar'd the whole front end of his car.The traffic was'nt real heavy , the guy in the turn lane would have been able to pull out with no problem in just a few seconds but Mr. courteous had to let him in in front of him any way.
