Such a broad range of work, that's what always put him above the rest in my mind. I never met him but from videos, and words from others, he sounds like a hell of a guy and really down to earth. R.I.P. Mr. Jeffries, you were and still are a huge inspiration to me.
What I liked the most about Dean Jeffries is that he built and did so much cool stuff but he didn't bask in the limelight like many of his other custom car contemporaries did. No tattoos, no crazy drunken stories, a very subdued, nice guy. He did many, many things that others took all the credit for, and that's all I'm going to say about that because I don't want this thread to turn into a bash thread. I passed by his shop so many times but never stopped in. I regret that now that he's gone. RIP, Dean......
