    Hey Boones, I have seen that car in person and some of the tricks they did to it are outstanding. Too bad you don't have pics from the rear. I remember he was looking for a stock gas cap for that thing, apparently rare as hen's teeth.

    I could not tell if the stainless on the red Olds convert was stock (not sure what year it was) but love the look of it. could never get a hood down shot of it.

    '48/'49 Cadillac had similar stainless (on the sides, if that is what you are talking about), but it looks a bit too fat (and short) to have come off a Caddy. Guess it could have been modified...

    I believe the Olds is a '49 98, and that the trim on the front fender and door is from '48 98. The trim on the quarter appears to be stock for a '49 98.
