That's the only 49-56 ish Ford (I think? Lol The roof says "Victoria" to me) that I like. Who did that car? Was/Is it a local car? That's the kind of look I see in my mind when I think mild kustom. Who ever did it took a car I'm not crazy about and made it cool. It's not over done. I think that's the key. Knowing when to stop.

    It's a 52-54, and I would guess it's not a '52. It's also a "glass top" Skyliner!

Butch (Bund?) of Butch's Rod Shop built one of the sweetest glass tops ever, but pics are hard to find.
In addition to a '52 Packard grille, he used modified Packard bumpers, front and rear, which suited the car perfectly.

Some old Lee diamond lenses might be fun, for when you're feeling wild! :D
(A station wagon rear bumper would be even "perfecter". )

So sporty, so factory in appearance (the paint job and trim are spectacular!), but the T-Bird hoodscoop leaves no doubt. Custom!

I have a glasstop roof complete that I had planned to use in one of my sedans, such a cool thing.

Those Merc grilles were made for those cars...and that paint, the chrome reverse, the stance...perfect

Not sure yet, was originally bought to put in my '53 from high school during a total rebuild, but now I think I want to just fix what that car needs and leave it the way it was when I was a teenager. Not that it was a super long time ago, but I read about guys who kept their first car and never changed it and I think I want to adopt that policy.

My '52 on the other hand would also take the glasstop roof and would look great but the car already has finished paint and interior and I don't know if I want to undo that for the swap. I could easily change my mind on that though.

On the other hand, there are also guys that kept their cars, and continued to work on them!
(Wayne Jones "Little Darlin'" comes to mind.)

Either way, it's great you still have your original ride. Thanks for the reply.
