Oh Nooo !!!! Glad you're ok and recovering. It's such a bummer to see your truck in that condition. Hopefully it's not too major in damages and can be fixed relatively easy and painlessly. Good luck.

  2. How so? you were hit behind the front wheel. Did you run a red light or fail to stop at a sign?

  3. That's no good. Looks like maybe just some bent sheetmetal? Just get yourself healed up and then you can figure out the next steps for the truck.

  4. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
It's just metal. I KNOW you can fix it. Take care of yourself first.

  5. bummer
    speedy recovery

  6. I got hit yesterday 4pm,gash on my head, bleeding didnt stop till 8pm..banged my knee, hurt my back, cop didn't show up til 8pm,cited me,and told me I was at fault, waited 45 mins for tow, helped driver winch the coe into my driveway..
    Went to ER around 10pm..
5 staples later I was in bed around 12:30.
Woke up at 3:45 to go to work...

Oh no. That sounds frustrating I hope recovery goes well and repairs go smoothly. So do you get to paint an suv with a strike beside it on the cowl along with the other stick figures? D6F9E159-4669-470F-924D-B4134864E777.png

Oh man! That's a bummer, hope you're healing up ok, the last time I banged my head I looked like Frankenstein for a few days, and was off (more than usual) for a while too.

  17. Glad your ok and I see your new thread.

I'm a little scared now, have family in Vegas and going for a wedding in the future. They a lost 4 cars over the last 2 years and all were T boned (the other drivers were at fault per police). Mom is going, so I'm driving a new car......just need to make sure the insurance is full up.

  19. Well I thought that if I just replaced the ball joints, the coe would be drivable again.
The ball joints on the pass were bent and stretched and the steering arm was messed up.
I replaced all of those and the steering is still funky...
Only 2 full turns to the left vs 4 to the right...also nothing went back easy as something is bent..
I'm going to replace the frame but maybe next year.
    On to the back burner..
    It runs,drives and stops.

  20. Had a little time, ordered a new steering box since the og one got messed up in the crash..
    I can steer now.
Started to fix the door, fender, running board, battery cover side skirt and inner fender..
Then I took the bed floor off and noticed the frame is bent..
Going to see if a frame shop can get it fixed.

Good to see that you’re beating panels back into shape .

  22. I thought you found another fender?

  23. LOOKING GOOD! Keeping all original parts is neat too. You have done an admirable job on that fender and a little more time it would be near perfect. The wrinkles do show character and use as a truck so either way you go is OK.

  24. Thank you,I really wanted to see if I could get it somewhat close to what it looked it before.

I did! just wanted to see if I could rescue it.

    Thank you!
I don't mind the wrinkles.it will show its a survivor.
