Probably a little too late with this "suggestion/criticism" but (based on your pictures in post #7) it sure doesn't look like you are cleaning the metal before you are welding. A grinder with a sanding disc is a good thing ... a contaminated weld is not a good thing.
That was done with the stick welder,,,we supposedly used the rod that can be used in dirty metal....???? I do have to get it through my thick skull to clean the metal before any welding.. Thanks for the helpful insight I do need to start applying that method.
man they are like hens teeth over here. There is a blu 52 (in oz) that has a long back on it (covered ramp style). up front is the bed, then lounge area, entry door, shower and 28 roadster at the back. if only 40 big ones (40,000), would fall from the sky and land at my feet. .. .

I like the WWW tires a lot. Great job. But you should have 'shopped in 7 evenly spaced lug nuts just to keep everyone guessing.
Awesome truck! I love it. Any way you can center the rear wheels in the fender openings? i think it would look even mo betterer.
*****in project so far!!! I use a product called rust converter from auto tech, most paint supply stores carry it, but if you dont follow the directions exactly, its worse than the rust that was there in the first place. also, throw every can of wd40 as far away from your project as you can. wd40 contains silicone, and ask any paint and body guy, thats not a good thing. If you need a lubricant, find one that specifically say NO SILICONE. If it doesnt say that, chances are its an ingredient. *****in project so far!!!
wow THANKS BILL....you been spoiling me ALOT... Thanks for the clapping..everyone. And yes I need to center the wheels but I cant move the axle because of the c notch.So my next move will be to move the fenders forward a few inches and shorten the running boards.
