Actually it was just my husband threatening my life if I didn't leave his username alone and get me own I'm hillbillyhell's wife, at least until I find something better. Hello to all from VA. I'm a Roanoke native - born and raised. Grew up in a car family. My dad was a muscle car guy and my grandfather (RIP) tinkered around on anything with wheels. Unfortunately though, I was far to "cool" to pay attention to anything they were saying or doing. But in the past few years I've started to sit up and take notice of the cool stuff coming out of shops all across the country. Quite accidentally I started reading the HAMB one day when the real HILLBILLYHELL left the room and I've been hooked ever since. I've lurked for months under his username....reading thread after thread and then making him explain everything to me out in the garage. His patience has been astounding at times . And I guess I could describe myself now as a paralegal by day - garage go-pher by night. I don't always know what the hell I'm doing, but by God I wanna learn! So that's it in a nutshell. I'll return to my lurking. But at least I've got my own identity now!
Welcome aboard. Maybe we could do some gene splicing with you and my wife and she could get, at least a little interested in my obsesion. Your husband is a lucky man.
Welcome...it's great that you share in the rod building with your husband. You do know that it's an incureable disease?? The pain can only be eased by getting more old cars.
