Guys had really creative imaginations back then.
Some crazy, some tasteful and somewhere in between.
    Good stuff.

Not sure… After 1959, the car doesn’t show up in any publication that I have found…

The front end is awesome, seeing that toothy grill in your rear view mirror would make a person pull over and let the beast by.

Almost feels like a thunderbird with Pontiac side trim but bigger at first glance. Neat find!

It may be the photo angle, but it appears the driver's side head light conversion is a bit canted.

Ends up looking very much like the '58 Pontiac, in my opinion.

That was my thought as well... just with a better roof line and profile.

I think that the fact that a woman was a club member and that she wanted her car somewhat customized is more unusual than the actual work that was done. In the mid to late 50's it seems the only time one saw a woman involved with custom cars were the girls giving out the trophies at the shows or the members girlfriends or wives.

Agreed. Makes the car cooler... Cuz she probably had to play harder to earn the same respect given the times. BUT, don't forget about the Dragettes:

Love it. Sort of a Watson flavor to the paint job? It's got the wagon bumper to relocate the tag.

Sorry.....pretty hard to improve on the classic lines of a 1957 Chev Bel Air two door hardtop. I'll take the original.
