Well, as I have been on the HAMB for quite a while, I thought a formal introduction is in order. Many HAMBers know me already, and call on DOCTOR DESTRUCTO for their health questions. I am ALWAYS there to help however I can! I am 39 years old and live in San Diego, CA. The Hot Rod manifesto runs deep in my blood and jalopies have been in my family for many years. I have a knock-down beautiful wife, Jennifer, but the guys in the club call her Xena, Warrior Princess - hmmmmmmm. We have 3 BOYS, ages 6, 3, and 6 weeks. All are hot rodders and the older two know the ins-and-outs of SBCs and Flatties; and eagerly hand out thumbs-down to billet-clad street rods. I am a Hematologist-Oncologist at one of California's leading cancer centers and I serve as the Chief of Medicine at our hospital. I was voted "Top Doctor" by San Diego magazine for 2 years in a row (Damn, I hate braggers, but that one just slipped). Just like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, I shed my white coat when I get home and don the ****ies, JJ t-shirt, and get to work on my hot rod. ONLY tradition sh-t will do. I hang with guys in my car club, THE TURKS, whenever possible. They are the best. My most recent project is a 1931 Model A Coupe that has a long history on the HAMB. Previously owned by LukeJiveTalker, then Bishop Welding, this is the badest buzzbomb! It started life as a hotrod in 1961 and....... well here are 2 pictures of the final re-build, just finished and back on the road last weeked. I will post a thread with the BEFORE, DURING REBUILD, and AFTER with ALL the details. Thanks for listening, and Call on the Doctor whenever you need me.
