The E100

Managed to get some time in on the E100. Ted (tedley) from the forum here popped over and lent his hands and experiance. The stock tailgates are damn ugly so I am making one from a new style Ram Pickup, will weld up the handle hole and use vintage econoline hardware to make it all functional, should look cool. Slowly but surely it is coming together....

I like the idea on the tailgate, think you can fit the shape of the tailgate to the body?

The ram gate is the perfect hieght, near perfect shape,just have to shorten it. Piece of cake to blend into the 1/4's. This a great budget garage build and nothing farmed out realy.I'm enjoying seeing the progress when i do the pop in.

 

The Ram T/Gate was the perfect cadaver to start with. Like Tedley said almost everything on this build will be done in my garage. I dont like farming stuff out especially stuff that I have the equipment here to do. There is not much I cant do here at home. Thanks

I have one side almost done, have sectioned the inner gate back in and have started to blend to the side panels.
