My buddy ron corder got a call from coker tire a few weeks, Congratulations to Ron Corder Customs for winning the BEST of the BEST Wide Whitewall Award competition. We compiled all of our 2024 Best Wide White award winners from about two dozen events to choose an overall winner for the year. This is it!!! Ron's EIGHTBALL'33 is a super special hot rod that's built from scratch to replicate a '33 Ford, but it actually started as scrap pieces of Ford body parts from several years. He sliced and diced the sheet metal, giving this low-slung coupe a special look that turns heads wherever it goes. The car stands just 39 inches tall, and features a scaled down profile that makes the 265ci small block Chevy look huge. The exaggerated proportions are amplified by a set of our Firestone bias ply whitewall tires. The fronts are tiny 325-16 motorcycle tires, designed for a Honda Dream, while the rears are 600-16.
Saw it at the roc it really is a pretty neat thing to see in person. For scale I would assume the interior is about the same size as sitting in a large wheel barrow. It really is tiny
Very cool! Talked to Ron for quite a while at the Roc this year. Neat guy and well deserved for the amount of work in the car. Not sure I would build something like it, but it is definitely an attention getter and conversation starter.
Really like the car and enjoyed it at the ROC. After some study I think I could maybe get in but they'd have to call the rescue squad with the Jaws Of Life to get me out!
Choose “Full Image”…NOT “Thumbnail”, when posting pictures on the H.A.M.B.. Wow, this very cool pic certainly shows how small “EIGHTBALL 33” actually is!
