No, that's not Gabriel's horn you are hearing, that's just my car finally coming to life after about three years of not knowing what the hell I am doing.

It's about damn time.

I don't have the lights wired up, the doors and grill still aren't painted, and my remote oil mount is leaking quite nicely, but dammit it's finally running. I've terrorized the locals with it a little bit, but I haven't gone out too far since it's not exactly legal right now.

Thanks to Coby for the pictures. I still need to replace my camera, so the pics are a bit limited right now.


Does this mean I get to sit at the grown-up table now?

Here's a couple before paint and the fancy-schmancy engine dressup type items. The last pic is the only decent pic I have of the top wood and windsheild frame. I managed to drop my camera and ruin it right after that pic was taken. I still need to put on the vinyl cover for the top.

Coby's pics certainly make it look more mysterious and sinister. My pictures suck. I think I'm just going to post parts of the car from now on, it certainly makes it look better than what it really is.
