got a Western Union Mail-o-gram from The General yesterday. seems they just can't build their new "Super Sport Roadster" without me, so back to work i go . starting Monday the 15th i'm back a**** the employed. why am i not excited? it seems my dad will be going there the same day as me, so that won't be so bad. the good news is, it's day shift only at that plant so i'll actually be able to work in the garage in the afternoons. i never got anything done when i was on second shift except on the weekends. why? because i would sleep til it was almost time to go to work. now it'll be 5am everyday, get up and get out the door. i so hoped to have the summer off too. this was gonna be my "summer of great accomplishment". rotten Nazi *******s anyway... save me the "you should be greatful to have a job" speach cause i've heard it before a million times.
You're gonna be responsible for helping ***emble that oddball? So when they recall them we can blame you right? Just look at it as $$$$ that you can put into a real rod.
i know the feeling... im pretty sure ill be out of work during the summer, although the powers that be keep whispering to me about a possible R&D spot, i could use a little time off. burnt out....
Mike, look at the bright side. Now you won't have to take those "paying" jobs and you can devote all your free time to my car. Look, I'm smiling! I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Should we be happy for you?
Well I'm happy for both you and CherryBlossom. The stress of living off one pay check and subpay has got to ****. Just make sure you leave your weekends free for car shows, cruz nites and get-togethers. All work and no play makes Mikey a dull boy.
Hey Mike...you should be greatful to have a job! Just kiddin man... I know what you're talking about... The last few weeks I've been SLAMMED at work, which means the money's good, but it's starting to seem too much like a real job!

I'm busy that day BUT if you get a 200# MALE thats having bid-ness things pierced, by all means give me a call. Never seen it done before.
I can vouch for Steve, I was at the shop last saturday for about 3 hours, I don't think I got to say but a few words to him, it is unbelievable the m*** of humanity that wants their "stuff" poked full of holes. Hey Mike, just think of it this way, just more $$ coming in to pay for wanted items like cement. I agree with you on the 2nd shift also, I ****ing hated it. I hate my present job, but I love the 5am-1:30pm shift, lotsa time for garage projects. Welcome back to the work force
