Hey Haywood, dunno if anyone has told you, but you look surprisingly like batman!

Yep, we are all wrapped to have it "down under", no doubt this will start a trend of us aussies stealing all your cool cars! You know, cause we have the whole beach, women in g string, beer thing going on, no time to build cars!
If you build it, we will import it!

how can i possibly want to work on that crappy thing now that the Herpie is in town? I get a funny feeling I will end up with it one day, hahaha!!! Not herpies, tha car i mean.

if i was loaded , i,d almost bring a few yanks out here and fill e,m full of our beer ... little differant to miller ,bdg ,etc etc ,,..(sorry mdg i think??)
and feed them aussie smiths crisps , or barbeque shapes ...

fugness ,,,. if u r worried about scollding coffee ,, why not make it with cold water and microjive it so precious international roast gets warm nice and slowly???? just like being on carrum beach ??/

after paint went on in o.k. , even the koffin kikerz name went back on the boot (refer e-bay foto,s ) i wonder if he knew what it meant??????
as long as those good pics stay on here i might copy 4T64RD,s drunk version of how space herpie was written on boot ,,,
coz i obviously can,t escape its name or history ,as long as all you lot are on here....

Hmmm...somehow an "Evolution of the Space Herpie" post just wouldn't be complete without this rare spy photo of it's initial conception!!!

Here we see the Herpie and it's Creator (DIRTYT) caught in a mind-meld, time-warp build moment. The Astro Cones on his head allow him to occupy multiple points in time and Space...while the Mariachi Twins channel toxic Goodness in from Gary, Indiana.

I think it shoulda stayed Pink...but alas, that was just an illusion created by the Flux Field through which this picture was snapped!

That pic of the herp in flat black has some heavy photoshop mate, cause it looks like a 63 wagon!!! Was it a stocker when you got it? How many colours has it been? Black then blue then green?

Ha Ha...that's a 62 wagon...followed by the Crusty Canadian Cruiser...then the Herp is bringin' up the rear...carrying the Koffin, dontchya know?!

(Why the koffin wasn't in or on the wagon I forget...but it seemed fitting to have it on the Herpie's head for a while!!)

The bruise was blue when Dirty got it...then it blackened before festering to green...he mixed Preperation H into the bondo but it never cured a thing!!!

 

What car is that in the middle? It looks like the 49 fleetline, but sits a lot nicer and has nice chrome....

 

Was the surf up on Lake St. Clair that day?

I have some secret photochops of some grill and bumper variations he was thinking of that I guess I can release now. DIRTYT asked me to do them way back when, but keep them secret... kind of like my weird uncle and I had a "secret"... But that's another story altogether.

Ha Ha...when he first drove that heap over my house and came around the corner with no grille or front bumper and the ass draggin' the pavement...it just reminded me of the little Space Herpie critter from the movie "Ice Pirates"...the way it just seemed to glide along with it's mouth open and scare people...just like the thing in the movie did!!

And thus, it was christened "The Space Herpie"!!!

I remember seeing the Herpie with parts of a white painted '52 F-1 grill, but I don't remember if it was a mock up DIRTYT did, or a Photochop.

or another time i was playing around with it.... it just never looked right to me, allways to heavy. even with a 57 chevy front bumper! now there is that shoe box with one on it and it doesnt even look bad!
