straight classic Cadillac caps.....or maybe some tri-bar spinners.....I know both have been done numerous times, but I think they look perfect on a 50's custom!

  3. If not those spyder caps are always a good choice as well. If I were running caps I may lean toward lancer caps.

62 Cadillac caps fully polished with twin whites and no skirts. Skirts are for girls and guys with a short penis. LOL.

good call. i did not even thing of the Spyder caps! and as far as lancer caps, I have no clue what they are....:)

edit: Nevermind, I looked em up, and I have seen them before. Lancers are a good idea too.

Gambino: I think you may have to switch caps every week, there are way too many good choices!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking mid to late 50's styles spinners. I like '55 Olds caps with more spinners, but something like this is you're planning on painting kinda Watson like.

You know my buddy Ray has some really nice caps, I think they are '54 Cadillac. I think they are too deep though, that's why he isn't using them on his '53 Caddy.

I'd say your car does need some flashy caps, but no cheapies. Gotta find some good originals.

I would say that 54 packards would be the ticket.

when you have a car that dialed you dont have to have flash, its like being sleeved out from your neck to your finger tips and wearing pendeltons.

you dont need to wear a t-shirt to say to everyone that you are covered. thats too flashy.

alex has style so I say use a cap that has a clean simple style.

less is more when its obvious, save the crazy detail shit for pinstripping parts of your frame that no one will ever see :D

to me that makes a car DIALED.

Maybe some single bar flippers with the skirts. Polished up and bright, that could be a real eye catcher.

'57 Caddy with center bullets hard to top, but so many have 'em. how about the naked lady caps? on such a special and well known ride need something that really pops. what style skirts planning to use?

    Alex,

Those shown above are very cool ! But, I know that when you finish 'em, whatever you put on there, you'll make it look cooler !

All the best my friend, and sorry you had those bad problems with it in Salina.

I think 58 Vette caps would look good on that car.

Just a suggestion, but I used these 54 Chrysler New Yorker caps because I'd never seen them on anything else, and I figure that the relative subtlety of the gold stars on them might compliment your paint.

On my '54 I'd love to run a set of '55 Olds caps (like Moonglow did in the posted pic) but to be able to afford the extra teeth... I'll probably just get myself a pair of Lancers and rob the bars off the back caps to run 8 per cap :)

1957 Lincoln Premier covers. See 50fraud's avatar- it has them in it on his 56 Ford.
