This is at the Ford Fever from yesterday at MIR Budd's Creek. First thing evident is that my digital camera is not too well at videos, and neither is the operator. Brad had some first time issues, the line lock wasn't working well at all, the trans brake wasn't working either, his stomach was all full of*****erflies, and you can see at the start his foot slipped off the throttle. Heck I should have handed him the camera! Video: The car did go straight, came back with all it's paint and moving parts, so a very successful outing... He ran a 10.54, not too shabby for all the things working against him, and lost to the P/U that ran a 10.49
Right at 10-3/4" high. Gives about 3" clearance around the carb. We made the NHRA/IHRA height restrictions by 1/4" ....by chance.....
I'm thinking that your not getting much air off the windshield into a scoop so high. I like the idea of keeping it period correct but maybe a current style would add in the HP dept...
"It has in fact been compared to Tip O'Neal's nose" LOL! That's awsome. What are the specs on the engine? r
