This is coming up next week. Is anyone going? If the weather is anything like it has been it should make for great weather for a show.

Haven't been to a show for a while will probably try to make it out for this one.

 

Friday Night Mandy Marie and the Cool Hand Luke's and The Danny Thompson Trio will be playing.


Gene Winfield will be chopping a '53 Chevy with a full shop at his access.

Saturday night will be a Pin Up Contest with $500 going to the winner.

Man, can't anyone come up with original names for shows these days? Not that anyone necessarily owns the name to this show, but The Fallout has been going on here for five years now.
Atleast its not another "rumble" of some sort like everyother show out there.
I guess calling it a Rod N Custom show just sounds boring to everyone.

The place they are having is GREAT! If you've ever been to a GOODGUYS INDY, then you should know that the WATER FRONT is where the REAL party is!

Just so ya'll know... The WATER FRONT is one killer Hotel. They will let the HOT RODDERS do there thing without any bitching.

a couple weeks ago we stayed there in our cars during a normal week night. We had our BMX bikes with us. We rode them down the hall and into the HOTEL BAR, leaned them up against the wall and ordered drinks. No one gave a SHIT!

They didn't ask us one question.. JUST POURED DRINKS! Strong ones.

 

Not sure how bmx bikes in a hotel equates to a good hot rod show, but ok.
Not questioning anyones idea of what traditional means. Just lack of originality in the name.

I'm simply stating that the Hotel is cool. EASY TO DEAL WITH. As in they are NOT gonna panic if you do a burn out, rev your engine.. or blow off those gay Flame throwers. Obviously some of you have never delt with shitty hotel managers before.

If you knew the guys involved in this show, you'd get the "BMX" thing.. You don't. Your from CT and Cali. I doubt your even gonna come, so...

Get over the name shit.. No one cares.

I did a search you can too for The Fallout show and no hot rod show came up, I would think that after five years of having a show there would be a following or something, I know you called and threatened us that the name was patented and it wasn't and on and on. There are a tons of shows that share the same name, we are not in the same month and no where near your show. Put all your energy into your show and have a good time. That's what we are doing. Its about having a good godamn time...if your VENUE is not down with a bunch of hot rodders doing their thing, havin a couple beers and gettin a tiny bit loose then your NOT gonna have a good time.

If you havent noticed our little "Traditional" hot rod movement of the last 15 years is a SUBCULTURE wether you like it or not...Just like punk rock, just like BMX, just like skateboarding....the shit all goes together and jives on the same wavelength..Im NOT saying that you HAVE to have all these things to be a part of one another.. We could show up to a show with bikes and skateboards and topless babes hangin out the back of the
Doane Spence roadster and people would still bitch... Who cares.

It should be a killer show...Thom and the boys know how to get shit done. There will be some badass TRADITIONAL hot rods there...maybe a few customs too...

Were halfway across the country from Cali and Connecticut...And we like it that way. REAL traditional hot rods, sprint cars and Drag cars are how it is in the midwest... Come have a beer on us sometime...

Our name is currently in the process of being trademarked and no one ever "threatened" you. We have a large following with our show. Google "Hot Rod Fall Out"....but anyways......

On a positive note and in the spirit of hot rod brotherhood... Your show looks like it's gonna be a great time. Maybe one day I'll make it out there for it. Likewise if you ever find yourself in CT in October your always welcome at our show. Goodluck with your show and I look forward to seeing the pictures

Yes the first year, but not Thoms first show. I know Thom and his crew, stand up people. I wish I could make it but I'll be out of town I know the show will be killer.

I don't care what the name of the show is, I don't care who or what club is putting on the show, it's a frickn' HOT ROD show people. That is what we are into, right? Just be there with your car and have good time. It's going to be a great show.
