    I agree that they do not look like they would sustain those kinds of speeds. There is another pic I am looking for that showed the car with disc wheels. I'll keep looking for it.

    I'm no aerodynamics expert, in fact I don't even know if I spelled that correctly, but the last thing I would do to a car that I'm trying to go 465mph in is attach wings to the sides.

    They would have only got so far with their limited natural resources and the fail of overtaking the Ruskies. Then they messed with the US!

    I was searching for info on WW2 technologies and stumbled across it. It was a while ago, and don't remember exactly the chain of events that led there. I'm glad it did though.
    It's origins are dubious, but it's the coolest car I've ever seen.

    "Searching for info on WW2 technologies"???? Hmmm??
    I gotta' ask....you weren't thinking of replacing the blown
    nailhead in the "Strange Bird" falcon with a 44.5 liter
    DB303 V12......were you??!! :eek::eek::D

    Yes! I'm busted. The blown nailhead is coming out, and it is being replaced with 44.5 litres of blown aircraft engine!

    Can't really tell for sure, but it looks to me that the wing profile is inverted from what an aircraft would have, and would therefore exert downforce at speed. (Maybe not):confused: Beautiful car anyway!

    Exactly! Someone needs to convince Mercedes-Benz to get it operational instead of being a static display in a museum. Can you imagine the sounds?
