    Sorry to hear of the gear breakage..
    My old 55 poncho was the same color combo as your chevy but the guy I bought it from, changed it a little. He used a brighter mint green and used an AMC dark green. The two colors were close to stock G.M. but a little brighter and more vivid. They really "popped" in bright sunlight.This photo was taken on a coudy day, unortunately...
    I was able to have my friendly NAPA store match the light green and they mixed enough so I could paint my wheels. I used wide whites and 49 Pontiac center caps to get the look I wanted. I loved the light and dark greens together and wouldn't think of painting flames, scallops or graphics on it...just my opinion.

    WOW, that has to be one of the slickest 56's i've ever seen. really well done. sorry to here about the rear, but glad to see that it's back in order. have fun with it.

    Hey Rocky! I´m sorry to hear you sold that Poncho, it looks fantastic!
    What I did, was almost the same. The light green is a bit brighter and the dark green slightly darker than stock. The dark green could have been a bit more "flakier", but I think it´s ok as it is now.
