PERSONALLY I never have used one,i heard they work on other boards.but you can do the same thing by just throwing the flake at whatever your painting,,i do it all the time.
It works very well if you want a lot of flake. If you want a small amount just use a intercoat clear of some sorts. It lays down a lot of flake, to much for some of the bikes we paint at work.
