Yes, I am both a FNG and an Old Phart. I've been shadowing the site for a few months; but haven't had anything to contribute, so I didn't register until tonight. I stumbled across the Vintage Sprint Car Thread; and was immediately hooked. I am only up to page 250; but I can't stand to read any more without entering into the discussion. My love of cars and racing started when I attended my first sprint car race at the Tampa Fairgrounds in 1947 when I was ten years of age. Since that was where it began for me, it is only proper that my first entry into the HAMB should be that thread. I'm headed that way now.
