Just reading the name I thought this was about some 1960s electronic ignition or something like that. Disappointed.
When I saw the photo it immediately reminded me of my time at Stan Greninger Olds, GMC. Ol’ Stan was an excentric and saw potential in the GMC motor coach which had been out of production for a few years. He bought up all of the old stock from several dealerships so he would have a monopoly on repairing them. They had a Chevy 454 engine and a Toronado front drive transmission making them front wheel drive. They also had a unique air ride system on the bogie axles in the back. The interiors were pretty cool too, kind of mid century modern. They were fun to drive, very smooth.
I've got vans pretty deep. I've never seen this one before, but then I don't go searching for one-off concepts. That said, this one has good points, but misses the mark IMHO on that front end. The Deora by the Alexander Brothers mentioned was much more refined design, albeit a few years later. The windshield in theirs was a 60 Country Squire tail gate, IIRC, so they may have been aware of this. Although too new, the Brubaker Box was a very well styled van. It looks good in pics, but in person it was even better.
he was doing a similar version of the Kaiser Waimea which I think was ctr steer, plus just look at the front wheel houses in this pic, almost has to be ctr steer
