Just a suggestion. I have no idea of what Ryan has planned, but it would be nice to see something in the rules regarding posts which abuse the word vintage. There seems to be more and more postings of "vintage" this, that, and the other which have nothing to do with traditional hot rods and/or customs. The fact these things may have been in use during the time period that the H.A.M.B. covers really does not qualify them for this forum. My .02.
I don't think that there will be any mention of the term but I usually think wine when I hear the word vintage,but it does refer to age. Definition of VINTAGE 1 a (1) : a season's yield of g****s or wine from a vineyard (2) : wine; especially : a usually superior wine all or most of which comes from a single year b : a collection of contemporaneous and similar persons or things : crop 2 : the act or time of harvesting g****s or making wine 3 a : a period of origin or manufacture <a piano of 1845 vintage> b : length of existence : age
