Hello everyone! I have recently received a free car through the H.A.M.B from unclescooby and I wanted to start a build thread to update everyone on the progress. The car is a 1952 Chrysler Windsor 2 door. (I'll leave a link to the free car thread at the bottom if you want to check out how I got this car!) I wanted to do something more than just a normal car build like everybody else does I heard about a young man who was on the H.A.M.B named HAMB Andy, and I have to say that I am touched by his story, so I wanted to do a car build to honor HAMB Andy. So far, I have a list of a few things that I know for a fact I'll need. I'll post more when we decide on a more detailed plan.
    Almost all glass
    Left trunk hinge
1 Coker classic white wall tire (P205/75R15)[i have 3 already]
    Most of the interior

Edited by Ryan: Hey guys, I just wanted to make it clear that this isn't a build that literally honors Andy or his charities of his choice. It's a build by a young guy that was simply inspired by Andy, what he went through, and his presence on the HAMB.

I can't even take my HAMB Andy T shirt out of the closet without tearing up a little...

    Good luck with the car.

Hey Jake, best wishes to you on this project. Don't get discouraged if things seem to get difficult or seem to be taking a long time, everything of value takes effort and if it was easy everybody would do it. Just stick to it, and little by little it will get done and you'll have something to be very proud of. You've got a great resource of people here willing to help, so don't be afraid to ask. Good luck!

Count me in on anything that is remotely connected to our young inspiring Hamb Andy. He was a real mentor to us all.

How about setting up a Patreon account where we can donate to the cause? Even just $5-10 from a few of us would help this fine young man along the way towards getting his tires and glass.

Hey Jake, I've got no 52 Chrysler parts and don't expect to in the near future, but I'm local and can lend a hand if you need, and I do have a friend that's a big 50s Mopar guy so I can see what he may know of in the way of local parts.

Here are just a few more photos of the car. I was able to piece together a front seat, so I could actually sit in it! Does anybody have any ideas about a bench seat? If so, let me know!

For a seat, you might look at some C Body (full size) Mopars, especially Chryslers. They had trim along the bottom on most, and were pretty comfy too. Check width and mounting points. Wish I had a specific answer, but Im sure you will several before too long.
