    Happy Friday to all.
Just a little project I got started on yesterday, will do the inking later on today.
Since I am already awake, I got the inking done, next comes the color pencil work.
Thank you to all that contribute to the "FAS"
    Thanks from Dennis.

    Hello,

March is the month to start the (Easter Vacation) Spring Break week rituals for most school kids and college age folks. We had our share of back then, Easter Vacation adventures all over So Cal, from a 5 day week, expanding to 9-10 day adventure as the waves continued. It was the last vacation surf trips we could take before school got out for the summer. Different waves, different swell directions all add up to a wonderful experience. But, during the last several years, a lot of people just decided to spend time with the family and do local things.

A custom 1960 Suburban to show off the colors of the surf school always gets the blood pumping. Even during the colder waters that this year is giving most people in the ocean. It is not just a standard Suburban to hold plenty of surf school boards and safety equipment, but add some custom car style to go along with the whole presentation. Not just flames, but water oriented flames to go along with the water sports.

Local pickup in the morning for the surf school in this water flame style Surburban sure beats driving to the beach in a giant black Suburban that most of see cruising around the shorelines. (and on TV as FBI cars chasing criminals in their black SUVs) Ha!

What better than to enroll in one of the local certified instructor surf schools in the coastal cities along the Los Angeles and Orange County shorelines. If one is close by, a 5 day adventure will certainly improve or have a beginner stand up and turn to ride the waves. Now, that 5 day adventure will result in renting a beach house or hotel rooms.

The folks in the water can't all be the ones having fun and enjoying a new adventure. There are even smaller casual “surf-oriented” boutique resorts that cater to the surf scene in So Cal. Their motto: “Eat-Sleep-Surf” fits right into the whole low key style known in the coastal So Cal communities. Great places to surf, outstanding local restaurants of all kinds, and in the evening, a comfortable good nights sleep for the next day's adventure. How relaxing is that?

How good are the surf schools in the South Orange County locations? Well, if it means anything,

“A surf instructor/lifeguard is to teach surf lessons, ocean safety and surf etiquette.” So, currently, one of the top pro surfers (#6) in the world is a product of one local surf school in South Orange County, with plenty of others waiting their chances to improve and join in the fray. Been very busy.... finishing up projects and heavy deadlines approaching rapidly....
But I was helping out a local show and finished the art for my ex partners... No longer involved.. but I will help out as much as possible to continue in their success... also.... the HOP UP art came out well in sticker and garment form.

    Back at it.

@Jeff Norwell Killer work this week amigo!

Storyboard deadlines are the worse. I'm crunching at the moment as well...

Edited by me. Here's an old hop up design I did for an "Itchy & Scratchy" cartoon back during my time on The Simpsons. If I can find some rough board sketches I did with Robert Underdunk Terwilliger Jr., PhD's (aka: Sideshow Bob) family 1948 Buick, I'll share them too, some time...

Happy Friday to you all.. l just wanted to send out a big Thank You to all the contributors to the FAS. I am no artist, but I certainly have an eye for artistic talent and this site has it in spades. Great job moderating Jeff, keep up the encouraging words
