    Hello,

    Gene Winfield has/had a good idea using a T body for his Flathead powered Altered Coupe. But, since the cab is so tall, the chop came in quite nicely. Some streamlining in front and the coupe was ready to race. Drags or Bonneville…

    Most photos show the latest version with a nose cone for streamlining. Add the same style nose cone to the black primer version with riveted windows makes for better looks and streamlining. So, a later version came along and the aluminum nose cone and hood sides gave it a racy look. But, it took away the original style with the scoop.

    The big scoop? No so much in the traditional HAMB sense…

    Even though I’m hopelessly non artistic…(my students laugh when I draw stuff in the cl***room) I look forward to this thread every week to see the outstanding work from all the talented artists.
