what diameter injector are you using they made them 2 1/16 up to 2 7/8 the nozzels are all matched to the fuel used 9a gas 20a alcohol 24 nitro etc. the barrel valve has a number on the end it tells you how the ramp is ground. bigger is for sure better with these old inj. if yours has the old disc couplers on the shafts while period correct they had a reputation for sticking at wot. let me know when you get that far. when set up correctly they work great and dont need too much maintenance.
Been able to piece together some more of it's history the car was bought new and raced by Gene Snow under the name of Hemi-Roid then sold to Deanie Montgomery who repainted it red and white he named it Long Gone.
Got the HEMI just about done scratch built the oil pan based off of photos of the pans used on the factory AWB cars.
question?..Have you had any contact with Deanie Montgomery about his ownership of your car?? He could be reached at Robs Battery and Elec,in Corsicana,Texas.
Deanie helped out with the history during the time he owned it sadly they lost all of their photos in a house fire a few years ago.
My stepdad found an old 8.5x11 glossy of the Pink Panther with its wheels up. Raefel Shields is lettered on the fenders as doing the ch***is work and trans.
