I took my heap around the block today. It goes, stops, steers and all the other good stuff. Got a few nick-nacks to do then, back in the shop for finish body work. Here is a shot of the day I drug her home.
Hey, i was just about to call you and see how you were doing,,, So how was that 3500 stall .... It run good?
The first time out of the garage under power is always sweet. Looks good, what's next on the list. Frank
cool, any side shots? Man I got an Allstate for free yesterday, well what's left of it. They look just like a Henry. Anyone have any doors?
A Sears Allstate is the exact same vehicle as a Henry J, except for the badges. That's it. Anything off a J will fit the Allstate body.
That's it. Them's fightin' pics. Now I gotta get my '52 running. Is that a '51? Most of 'em that I see are '51s, but I can only tell the difference by the grille treatments. And you're right about the Allstates. My '52 uses Allstate turn signals, etc. But I've only ever seen one Allstate in person. It's neat that you could buy one through the Sears catalog. What motor is in that thing, anyway?
[ QUOTE ] Dude - can you see over the dash? that thing is killer - Congrats Dixie DOG - Where is your Henry J? [/ QUOTE ] There was one that used a expanded metal floor to see the track. Keep it up - and I may just have to do something about that
