Thanks for the very interesting stories. The garage/shop is amazing just because no one has vandilized or stripped it. Now I know what I have to do this summer when we head from NW Florida to central Illinois to visit. I have p***ed by many interesting old places. In fact there were a few in a tiny town near here with very old rusty signs and things still in place. Now I am curious if they are atill there. The other places along the 1000 mile journey have been only blurs because we always pulled an RV or flat bed when p***ing. This year we will take only the pick up truck or the 55 Chevy wagon. We can stop or turn around anyplace to shoot some photos. Again thainks for the inspiration and the walk back in time.
