I started assembling my flathead yesterday...

I took some pics of the valve assemblies going together and will post them.

There something beautifull about shiney new parts for an antiquated old simple engine. Very purposefull and yet organic and pure.

When the parts fit together, it's like art.

I think engine parts in general are beautifull but there's something about a flathead's simplicity of design that increases the purity and beauty.

I just have to resize the pics and then I'll start a fresh post.

Whats with some of these "poses"? They tend to look a bit forced to me...like the girl has some horrible case of hemmoroids and is in a really foul mood or something.

I don't like to look at girls that look like they are about to kick my ass and then shit on my car.
