I'm looking at putting aftermarket electric windshield wipers on my 31. Which ones would you recommend or not[IMG]

  3. I put a little repro Model A type wiper motor on the driver's side only in my '32 pickup up in the panel over the windshield. It's some made-in-Taiwan thing with a shiny stainless steel and black motor housing. I have no idea on the brand, but they seem to be available lots of places anywhere from $30.00 on up depending on who's selling it, complete with a short stainless steel wiper arm. It's pretty simple to mount -- one hole for the threaded shaft to go through, and one small bolt hole that keeps the whole motor from rotating. Don't lose the wiring diagram because it's wired kind of funny where you ground one of the three leads to make it run. It has a self-parking feature which uses a wire that's always hot to put the arm back to the up position after you turn it off. There's another version of those wipers with a switch right on the motor, but I like the smooth stainless cover on the one without the switch.
