    I think they called us Australians just to wind us up. And I suspect that when the Aussies turn up, they call them Kiwis :)

    Our worldwide hot rod family is great.

    Really really interesting read. This was my first GNRS, and I was amazed at the sheer quality of cars. Since I have been employed by a small hot rod shop the last 8 years I have a whole different and new appreciation for the pro built cars and their owners. It was such an honor to participate in building 9 and represent my Uncle Ray's place in the AMBR lineup. But I will admit feeling very out of place with my garage built car and its many many flaws. Hell, I was the only car in Bldg 9 with a functioning drip pan under it.... But Ryan, I completely appreciate your comparisons to works of art. As an observer, owner, and builder I couldn't agree more. Also, a bucket list item for me is for you to see my roadster someday.
