You think you're slooooow! I canceled my credit card on Dec 16th because I was being charged for two phone lines. We don't even have a home phone, or a line! The only thing that comes out is my satelite internet. It came out on the 15th so no porblem. I was supposed to get a new card in a few days. The nice lady at the bank forgot to order a new card. It wasn't till Jan 7th I got my new card. What's this got to do with internet? I got home Dec 16th and my internet was off! I just assumed it hadn't come out yet and the nice people at HughesNet got pissed. So finally I got my new card, went to the satelite store and got everything back up. That's when I found I was not OFF the internet. WTF? My router is in a far corner of my garage where no one ever goes. The router wire thingie to my modom in the house was unplugged. WTF? So I went nearly a month over the holidays not being able to pester my friends on these sites. So I understand slow! I know nothing about a binary system, decimal system, or sewer system. Back in the mid sixties when I worked at a large factory with smoke, heat, freezing temps, dust, and bright lights I was set up with a box and a keyboard just inside a large door to store the crap I had on 3X5 cards. Had to put a cardboard box over it to see the grey stuff on the monitor. Within weeks I was offered a job driving a big truck. Anything was better than that newfangled puter. Now I'm retarded and waste most of my time on a computer.
HRP, not sure if you just kidding us or not... 1 means on (or you know binary) 0 means off (or you don't) So saying there at 10 kinds of people means the same thing as there are two kinds of people. Sorry sometimes I can't help being a nerd
Regardless of all the humor in this thread the hamb is extremely slow,even logging out and back on doesn't help. BTW,there is a thin line between humor and odor,one is a shift of wit the other is a whiff of $hit. HRP
If you say it is slow, then it is slow.... at my end I have not noticed any difference. Could it be the carrier that you use?
I'm in Coastal Georgia using Verizon and can't tell any difference. It's loading as fast as it ever has...
Yes I do. My dad was in a RKO commercial in "way back machine Sherman" for computers. I was in Chicago PD computer ROOMS in 63.
My HAMB is slow and totally screwed up! Started yesterday. The background is black leather looking and each response is spaced out 2" apart. The avatars are 2 1/2" square! Some features, the drop down red flags usually on top right for instance, are missing completely. VERY difficult to read and enjoy. Anyone else having this issue? I don't think its my computer because the other sites I look at are fine....
