Welcome! Glad you're a car/bike guy. I was a big fan of Poison back in the day. I still have your cassettes somewhere.

Awesome, I was hoping you'd come back. I loved your pinstriped toilet seat diary you did.

I had the hair and I played Poison in multiple bands back in the day. Now all that hair is gone (not by choice [IMG] ) and I'm bald playing in a rockabilly band sans pomp. Isn't it fun the little twists life gives you. My g/f was a little young for that era, but she loves you guys to this day.

Howdy Rikki, I can't say I dig your taste in cars, but the bikes are a different story.
I've got a '63 Triumph T100SC, the high pipe scrambler model. It hasn't moved in years and it's my fault. I've been promising to get it ready for my wife to ride, but it just keeps getting put on the back burner.

BTW, I saw you guys at the HOB just a couple of months ago. I'm no huge Poison fan but I loved it. Y'all were totally unpretentious and quite simply rocked. It looked like you were truly enjoying yourselves, which is more than I can say for some of the lame assed poseurs that around today.
It took a lot more guts to have a stupid floppy fringed hairdo in '79 than it does to be sleeved today.

I love your pinstriping, you're really good.

It seems that some of you guys are getting caught up about nothing, there are quite a few respected artists on the HAMB that don't have 'traditional' cars, get over it.

    R/R...Action Girl threatened me with a Boob-Boxing if I didn't welcome you.....
The rest of you need to do your homework....the NEW YORK DOLLS were O.G. HAMB material....Thunders had a chopped 3 window & Johansen had a shitbox with "Too Much Too Soon" lettered on it by "Da Mook", famous East coast pinstriper in the 70's......

Aye, alas my fiancee was prime for those days. And she retains a phenomenal mental library of pop metal knowledge. She has left some in a state of awe and utter metal breakdown to the breadth of her knowledge. I walked the darker, heavier line then, so it leads to interesting discourse between us at times.

Welcome Rikki, I might have to converse on some Brit knowledge with you. Stacey has talked nothing but how good a guy you are.

I have been there with a woman who was all about R&B (the new , lame stuff). It didn't work out and I wasn't surprized.

Sure, hit me up with Brit stuff. If I don't know, I'll find out. I am lucky enough to have a worldwide connection to all kinds of folks.

Oddly enough, my Mother wanted my middle name to be James after her Mother's maiden name. Can you imagine?!

Nice stuff Rikki! By the way if you were thinking of coming out to Shundo's, hold off. The place got flooded and he had to close up for a short time. He should be back in business soon. Satin (Troy)

You saying that ZZTop was from the 80's? ZZTop has been together since the dawn of time.

Oh - hey, welcome to the HAMB. Sometimes we talk about cars.

Always wanted a "Snortin' Norton" myself. I did have a beat-up Bonnie for a while. They were too hard to get parts for so I switched to the Japanese copy Yamaha 650. I turned over the odometer on that one. Flat wore it out. Never got into the little Hondas. I went for the Hodakas, Had an Ace 100 and a "Combat Wombat". Loved those Chrome tanks and fenders. Moved up to Greeves and I think I can say there aren't too many deer trails within a couple hundred miles that I didn't ride. If I could have any bike I wanted, it would be a Norton Commando tho. It's the "Deuce" of the bike world to me.

I graduated in '87 so needless to say, I listened to your Music. I was more into DIO, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, etc, but the Girls didn't want to listen to that stuff. They wouldn't even get in the car with you unless you had a Poison or Cinderella tape.... [IMG]

    Welcome to the HAMB.

If for some reason they made a movie of my life, the soundtrack would include some of your music. Good times...

Haha, we got paid $30 (total! divided by 4 guys...) to play to 20 people last night. It was fun though!

    That Commando rules.

SO, since you're selling your truck, what are you gonna look for next? Hot Rod? Kustom? 10 more trumps? [IMG] [IMG]
