I'm guessing the file name is too long. Way, impossibly, why the hell is that thing too long, too long. The URL works...
I dunno why Snapfish generates the Gettysburg Address for a file name when it uploads photos, but I've uploaded from there before. Here's a link to the album. http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=51843155/a=50283309_50283309/t_=50283309
I owe everyone money... but not them... I hope. Thanks Josh. I've got more shots, I'll e-mail you a few higher res ones.
That would be FartCat and he was there again filming from the right of the tower. I don't know what his plans are but perhaps he'll do a two-fer. Both 2005 and 2006 on one DVD since he was such a slacker with last years one. When I throw a party at the house it's the HAMB Drags video that everyone wants me to put on the big screen so I'm really looking forward to getting the last two years.
I'll just tag onto ZMans thread here. I finally got home to Houston a lil after midnight last night. Wow has the past 4 days been a whirlwind. The drive to Joplin on Saturday morning and hooking up with all the Maryville gang (Mootz's crew) in Archie, Mo kicked ass. Those boys don't mess around its either 80+ or stopped. Had a great time meeting and greeting all the people I hadn't met before. As we all say "Nice to put a face with a name". Also catching up with old friends, there just wasn't enough time in the weekend was there? I think Denise was trying to fatten me up for slaughter with all the cookies she was pushin' on me. DAMN THEY'RE GOOD THOUGH! Poker run was pretty cool, I'd never been on one before. That 1st leg on the windy road chasing the Spacetruck, and Mr. Yuck through the turns, too cool. The Drags, hum, not much to say besides AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite missed polaroid opportunity was D.W. doing his burnout, completely encased in smoke, he looks over at all of us on the fence and just showed the biggest "CHEESE ASS GRIN". Then he ran an 11.98 and was so pumped for breaking into the 11's. And the one that gave me goosebumps was watching Steve take the Waco Kid for a pass. As for the rain, well that sucked. The silver lining was at the Ramada after Drags party. 150 people getting cozy under the driveway awning. Good times! I've seen enough Man-ass for a lifetime between Monkey and the Thunderbolts. Denise we still need to that pic of Zman checking out the asses though, LOL. To end the night the lobby with Mrs. Rashy handing out AA name tags from the Summer Hummer. I hope I did "Karen T" proud. Then the drive home, crap it was long. I ran back to Texas with BigKen, TorqueWinch53, Hugh and the Dirty's. We hit Starbirds, which is worth doing in my book. HOLY CRAP I just typed a lot. See y'all next year in Joplin or anywhere in the south that HAMBer's congregate.
I protested the results of this race... Denise refused to let the tech guys inspect her bike, and there's just no way a stock Dyno Deuce would go that fast!
"The drive to Joplin on Saturday morning and hooking up with all the Maryville gang (Mootz's crew) in Archie, Mo kicked ass. Those boys don't mess around its either 80+ or stopped." Man I like the sound of that "Mootz's Crew"-It was good to meet you and hang out with ya all weekend. It was a fun trip all around. That truck of yours was good company also, she's a beauty. Good times, good times..... Mootz
I've finally got 334 pics up at http://classicdragsters.com/ Haven't had time to put captions in yet. Also, unlike so many other losers here, my pics can be enlarged to a decent size. None of this 600x400 junk. And if you want the full size photo, send me a PM.
Great pics Z-man good to meet you whilst grubbin on the brats! Ill have to come out east and get some ink! That 39 Chevy was sweet!
Root, in case you didn't see it in the other thread, your car was my boys' favorite. They are 9 & 10.
Flt-Blk - Glad to see you made it home, we shagged it all the way back to New Braunfels in that Maroon Fleetline - we lost part of the shift linkage when my old man made a pass on the track so it got a little tough to shift there toward the end. I'll send you some pics of the old 50' six.
Blake turned me on to your Fleetline, Wayne head, and A/C hell yeah! I didn't take hardly a pic, but heres a few. Chasing Spacetruck, and Mr. Yuck through a winding Ozark road on the Poker run. And the way back to Tejas with the Dirty's. Dirty2, and Dirty31 both blew through a toll plaza on 44 and had to hoof it on foot back to pay the toll and get vouchers for the tickets they'll be getting in the mail from the photo ticketing system.
