    I have no clue.
Got the info. from AHF site, which is largely why I felt like an ass. . . .
looks like I'm pontificating on hot rod history, when in fact, I am copying & pasting from AHF site. But, research it, maybe he's your Bob Bowen.
Check this out, might help (might not). :)

Before we had Disneyland and Magic Mountain we had Pacific Ocean Park. Lovingly called P.O.P. it fell on bad times because of Disneyland and closed. It is back now but no where near a Disneyland.

Remember when there were no "Homeless" ?

There were only bums, or hobos.

I am not a politically correct person and you are right, he is a bum. Those wooden boxes will burn good under the bridge tonight. It is nothing new as you can see by the photo.

This photo looks off to me. $6.99 for gas? Heck that looks like a current picture. The street lights and everything look like they haven't changed. Maybe it was some sort of photoshop art thing? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

    ........ and you're forgiven. :D

I believe the color balance in those shots is Kodachrome, I have no idea if photoshop can do that.

I thought the same thing at first but then it dawned on me. That's 69.9 CENTS per gallon! Still high priced LA for the times, we were paying 29.9 here in the early 70's.

I remember gas hit $1 in 1980. I worked at a station in 1967 an regular was 29.9.............so I'm guessing that photo is mid-70's
