    Finally the wait is over!

Foreword by C-9 Jay Carnine, Bitchin' art by Lil Nick (cover) Kropduster(Chapter Art) and some other guy's stuff. For those that don't know it was compiled from recipes from fellow HAMBers. There is lots of good stuff in it everything from easy stuff to some kinda upscale stuff. Mostly comfort foods cause they rule. Good food from good folks.

I told The Vagabonds since I"ll be off in Afghanistan by Tuesday that I'm leaving the book and funds it raises in their hands to decide to with as they choose.

I apologize for the long wait. Life, work and a deployment to Iraq kinda got into the way. Also I lost some of the recipes that were sent in so if you sent one in and it's not there that would be why...Unless you sent in a ton, then I may have drop a couple(or more) just to have room for others.

As for the Art well doing a color book would have been a bit more expensive than what I felt comfortable with in these tight times. I didn't add as much art as I would have liked but it's a cookbook and I can live with that. I think this book is good thanks to those that sent in recipes and will be fun for those that get a copy. Remember if it seem a bit hokey well....it's suppose to be.

    Enjoy

I believe it should be $15. We'll check it out.

And I have one coming to me already, I'll get pics up ASAP when I get it.

It is $15. It was at a different price but we felt it was too high. Why it still shows the old price I don't know.

It's cool, as soon as Carol gets in her office this morning we're gonna try and straighten that all out. I still have friends over there...

    Thanx... will order one today.

Can't you get this thread up there in Sticky-ville?

Please put me on the list for next year's book. I have a FANTASTIC formula for pepper / garlic chicken!!! Seriously. It's THAT good!

    Later, Gary

  9. The first cookbook was a lot of fun with a ton of great recipes. This all got started out of the first drags food crew and Zeke and myselfs love of cooking.

Did your world famous "pig burning" recipe make it in there this time? :D

  11. Nope, the recipe was fine, the implementation was the issue! Did feed 250 last weekend, fun time had a crew of helping me throw down. Meats were Venison, Bison, Beef two type of chicken and dog biscuits(Boca Burgers) for the Veggie folks.

Zeke, you need to get your thread "sticky" at the top... or bump it every day. Ya think the guys would need something to give the old lady on birthdays, anniversarys, graduation days, etc, eh? Gary

I ordered mine ( I should say my wife's) last night.

Remember when someone hollers "DUCK" over there don't start looking for birds to create a new recipe with.

    Zeke,

I just don't get on here as much as I used to. Therefore I just now heard of it. And I wouldn't have seen it now except that I caught your "goodby for now" thread.

So as soon as I finish this I'll be putting in my order.

    THANX!

    ...for the cookbooks
    ...for serving our country
...for making the other soldiers' lives a little more tolorable while they are "over there"

Come back safe & I'll see you at MoKan in '11.

EDIT: my cookbook is now on order.

  29. Thanks atch! So folks know, the money from this helps the Vagabonds put on our free HAMB Drags parking lot BBQ. So it's a big circle of sausage love!:D

  30. Just ordered mine.

Zeke, thanks so much for putting this together - keep safe over there.
