  1. WOW, that's what I like! It doesn't have to be show condition. But, a GOOD, SOLID idea or concept. Well done son, well done

Kool yeah! but its still more of a hot rod really.
Its a Hep Demons ride, or it was, these pics are 3 or more years old.
Its either an Austrian or Swiss car club w/ plenty kool rides.

I like the Blue Mambo, but theres something not right about it...what is it?
or is just me having a senile moment?:D

Gasserrods truck is the shit! I had pics of it taken at night and couldnt
find any more info on it for ages! Kool to know who owns it now.:D

I think it's where the gutter has been shaved and the door frames welded to the roof to hard-top it, makes it look very heavy? Nice car, though.

  6. Thanks for these pics. That car was 50 feet from mine in Santa Maria, but distractions kept me from walking over to it all day. Is it in SoCal? I've not seen it since S.M.

A friend of mine (Kuztom Ole) just got this one registered, its been a long term build, once just finished - then he decided he wanted a cab and started over again. :) It started life as a fourdoor...

He´s a happy man now, even though he had to pay a tax around 6.000$ to get it on the road again...

mikaelmtb, the 57 Chevy front bumper as a back bumper with exhaust tips is a stroke of genius.

I think John Mearns 1936 Ford built by the ACME Speed Shop with body work by Jeb Scolman has been shown in this thread before... but John send me some great new photos that I would like to share here.

One of the nicest 36 Ford customs around.

I agree completely, it's stunning. Therefore, I feel like a jackass complaining on details, but after spending so much time and effort to make it look just right in every other aspect I think he needs to put some proper tires on it. I'd really like to see it with bias-plys and wider whites to finish the look.

    Sorry...

  29. You're sorry Chrisman- maybe a lil' too hardcore there.

It is a very sweet looking build- very intelligent melding of Harley Earl & Edsel & co's style cues, with perfect organic color & tone.
Looks like a car to inspire driving, unlike the 'far- out' candy- pearly show divas.

You mean those aren't bias plys? They sure look like it. Anyway, that car looks perfect to me.
