i went to the GSTA meeting last night, and looks like our car club, the ignitors, will be getting the GSTA's old FED what it looked like a few years ago.... if we can get our***** together. but we need to find a place to store it, and fast. somewhere in the twin cities. i'd volunteer my shop, but it seems to be full. the car has a 160" wheelbase, so figure it's about 16 feet long or so. we might have a place lined up in few months, so short if we could find someone to store it until then, that would be******in, and we'd be ever-greatfull... the car doesn't have a motor anymore.... we need to build one. and as much as i hate to build a small chevy for it, that's what it's set up for. we might have a good shortblock, but we need some heads and an induction system. my dream would be for a four-hole hilborn on a 6-71 with a bugcatcher, but we a bit low on funds. i've can get some 94s, if someone could maybe hook us up with an intake.... thanks guys, four-thirteen
four-thirteen.....bring that thing to Duluth and we'll (the*****s 'R' Us Racing Team) install a 398" blown on alky early Hemi in it. And I'll drive it as well !
cause no one told me exactly where every one was meeting i missed it!! I already said we can put the car at my place in the car port, no problem with that plus everyone knows where my place is and i have plenty of tools to use and my boss said i can do all the machine work at work for nothing also, i think we should start withe a naturally aspirated induction system (4bbl) cause it affordable and we can always upgrade! plus if i remamber coreectly its not certified to go faster than a certain speed???
