    Although these two photos are vintage motorcyle, I see vintage bikes in photos here and thought these two custom intakes are cool. The first is a 39 Harley ULH with custom overhead valve conversion and carburetors and the second is an early Harley Knucklehead with a custom manifold and dual linkert's. 20150919_3837160.jpg Untitled-20.jpg

    Was at Petes shop last Sunday, He fired up his Big assV12 Hydroplane engine ..Pretty F ing cool:cool:

    Here is the induction system on my 59 Lark. It draws cold air from the little vents next to the headlights.

    Here is the induction I am working on now. For me and my buddy Butch's 55. Had a broken bolt in one of the holes.

    The sheet metal is an NHRA requirement to keep fuel from being siphoned from the carbs at speed. A fire safety thing.

    Thanks. Of course, scoops would do the same, providing positive pressure into the carbs.
