What's up with this one?

That appears to be a Whipple screw blower, they use rotors like this-

The screw blower was banned by the NHRA years ago. I’m not sure but I wonder if that “injector” on the blower is a dummy just for appearances and that engine has EFI with nozzles at the ports?
Anybody know for sure?

 

I wish the 348/409 group would bring their cl*** back to this event. I always enjoyed it.

I posted this in another thread, but it belongs here as well. Scott injection made to bolt to a factory Chevrolet fuel injection lower plenum.
