Nice lookin' jacket. I have to give Ryan Kudos for going quality over quan***y. Having said that, I read the posts, I searched the thread, is there a drop dead date on ordering one of these?
looks nice we (the suedes) did a simlar wool coat a couple years back and i wear it all winter long. that said i think it would be cool if you brought back the black t with the same jj logo on it for us less funded people ot the one at missed the before
That's a beautiful jacket, I'd get one if I lived somewhere colder. Yeah $350 is a lot of cash, but if one really wants one, they'll find a way to swing the finances. I dunno...... I might just have to look around the yard some more and see what else I can ebay to get a jacket anyway........
Ordered mine. You just can't be warm enough in Sweden at winter. It's alot of dough but quality costs. I had a similar jacket that I wore for almost 10 years, both winte and summer, I threw it after the back of it had holes... Way to go Ryan, small and exclusive sortiment.
I ask about this before and got blasted . I guess it was a good idea . http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=153193
Ryan, I would like to order a jacket. I'm somewhere between an XL and a 2XL, so if you could e-mail me the chart of measurements, I would appreciate it. I figure a purchase of a jacket is not only going to benefit me [the older I get, the colder I get], but also the Jalopy Journal in general. Ryan does an outstanding job, and hardly a day goes by that I don't click that JJ shortcut on my desktop to see what dish Ryan is serving up next. I used to haunt the old FordBarn site....nice enough guys in there...but then Flathead Youngin' pointed me to JJ and I found my home and my soul. I have not seen any website that comes close to the diversity of topics I get with Jalopy Journal...from artwork and adverti*****ts to junkyards and barnfinds. So yeah, I'm fortunate to have a spare 300 bucks to get a jacket, but when they are gone, they're gone....and the next batch will be that much more expensive...if another batch of jackets is even run again. (Besides, the next 4 months of work on the Venus will be fibergl***, resin, and sandpaper which is relatively cheap!) And don't fool yourself, it gets cold as **** here in Houston as well!! So if this helps Ryan and the Jalopy Journal, then I'm there!! Thanks. Patrick McLoad mcload@gmail.com
Whoa! Yes, I'd say that was a bit of blasting...you must have caught these (gals?) on an off day! But like I was told early on, you've got to wear a thick skin in here. Patrick
Albie here at American Rebel.. Just a note about sizing on the Car coat(fingertip style on large sizes) My jackets are cut full so think of it this way. If you are an XL the jacket will d**** like a 2XL etc. If you are a 2XL it will d**** like a 3XL and so on. S-L dont have as much fabric. Happy new year to all. Albie
