Ryan - You've been a big influence on me, too. You trusted that there was something special waiting out here for you and took the leap. I followed a couple years after you into the unknown. Turns out, the biggest unknown was how much fun I'd have living my dream - with a LOT of help from the HAMB. Thanks is too small a word - but it goes out to each of you... Happy 15th, Scotty PS: It takes me several weeks to complete a feature story (I'm usually juggling a few at once) - Ryan puts out a world class feature on the Journal every DAY, plus runs this show for us! Think about that...
Happy birthday J. J.......and thanks Ryan for making me stop that gosh darn lurking. The cancer car lives give to cancer research
I don't think any of us can really thank you enough. I've been inspired by many people on this site, I've made some friends from this site, and I've laughed my ass off with this site. It's one of only 3 websites I frequent, thanks again for starting this mega fuckin sweet site.
Thanks for building the best site on the WWW. It's amazing what you have built here. I hope in these economic hard times this place will continue to grow.
Congratulations and thank you for fifteen years of service to your fellow hot rodders! Long live Jalopy Journal and the h.a.m.b.
Thank you, Ryan, for your passion, insight, wit, attention to detail, wisdom, and uncompromising integrity. Only one other place feels like home like the TJJ/HAMB, and it's my home. Steve
thank you ryan we meet a lot people that we would never meet. things that you would never have known. and with a click of a button you will. john
I just want to thank you for being so obsessed. This site helps to make the freaking winter tolerable. Thanks Again for this great use of space. George
Hard to believe that there was a time without the Jalopy Journal.....Thanks to everyone that makes this an unbelivable place!
We were just talking about this aspect of the Hamb last weekend. There are two guys on here, one from TX the other from AL, that I am as close to as my actual brother. Actually there are more than these two, but in one instance in the early 90's, all three of us were in the same tiny parking lot at a Rod Run and never met. We all liked the same kind of cars, art, people, etc. but never shook hands that night. The Hamb puts those 3 guys in the same parking lot at least 3-4 times a year now. Surrounded by the kind of cars, art, and people that we all like and we'll never forget that. Thanks for all your hard work Ryan.
If it hasn't been asked yet, what are the most popular (top 10, 20 etc.) threads in the Journal's / HAMB's history? Longest lived? Most responses? Most views? Etc. Thanx for the HAMB. Gary
congrats on 15 years of a successful board most die in a year or two you kept it going for the long haul Here is to 15 more!
Written by a newbie and proud to be so among so many experts: 15 years and counting.....Thank you to everyone and thank you to our Boss!
