Oh this is going to be good.....seeing the linkage all set-up tells me we're getting close. That set up looks so clean and I love the see how crisp the action is. I can hear the nail head now........

So we are waiting to get the frame back from the body guy... As such, there hasn't been a whole lot of final assembly going on... BUT, Keith has been able to start on a few details.

Can someone enlighten me on the brake hard lines? They look great but are they copper/copper based? Thought copper was a big NO NO?

Copper Nickel brake lines. Coiled roll, straightened and cut to length.

Looks great. Question on the brake line clips. How are they attached? It's hard to tell from the picture.

    Thanks, Ryan.

That's what I thought it looked like. Just wasn't sure. Very nice touch.

So, we have both the Auderer Roadster and the Mearns coupe in the shop at the moment... Things are a bit cramped for sure... Even so, final assembly of the Mearns roadster has begun.

@Ryan is that frame welt/webbing punched out? If so, what punch are you fellas using?

  26. Ryan forgot to mention the other Model A in the foreground. ;-) Not too bad either.

Keith uses a punch to burn the holes in the webbing... I've documented this process somewhere. I'll search for it.

Just about anywhere... I think we got this from Vintique.

Today's progress... Rear suspension is done, gas tank is in, and the pedal assembly is all wrapped up... Oh, and the motor found a home between the frame rails!
